Requirements:

• Science or English major with strong creative writing skills.

• A successful candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, and/or experience with scientific technical, or medical writing.

• Must have >2 years experience in copyediting medical or scientific manuscripts.

• Knowledge of writing scripts for video production is desired but not required.

• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

• Review video scripts prior to filming to ensure grammatical and style accuracy while maintaining the scientific content.

• May be asked to assist the script manager in related tasks

• 1. 12 to 48 months of experience in Copyediting of STM Journals / Books, with high emphasis on quality
• 2. Should have good communication skill in English
• 3. Should possess eye for detail and reading skills
• 4. Should be flexible to work in shifts, should be willing to extend and work based on the business requirement

Job Profile:

• 1. Responsible for checking the style of the content with the given style sheets
• 2. Ensure consistency and availability of the data as per customers specification
• 3. Checking for appropriate Punctuation, Capitalization and Spelling
• 4. Ensure high quality in all above mentioned aspects and should be capable of meeting crucial deadlines
