Job description
Our goal is to make local businesses successful. A Digital Marketing Coordinator works to help local businesses establish and maintain their online presence by creating a successful social marketing strategy for our partners’ clients. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who communicates effectively, understands the importance of online marketing, and has a proficient knowledge of social media platforms. They must also be comfortable creating online content and demonstrating excellent customer service skills. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to change is a valuable asset.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with our partners to bolster their business by providing fulfilment services to their small and medium-sized business clients.
- Respond to positive and negative reviews on behalf of the local businesses on a daily basis
- Track all completed and pending work within our task management platform
- Provide world-class customer service for our partners and their clients
- Maintain product knowledge and awareness for our partners and their clients
- Share knowledge with the team at large and offer training and guidance to new team members
- Create and publish social media content for many businesses in a variety of verticals as required
- Provide cross-functional assistance to other departments within Marketing Services as required (training will be provided)
- Complete all expected fulfilment work by deadlines as outlined in the SLAs
Skills Required
- Strong writing and proofreading skills are a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- Availability to work evenings is considered an asset, although not required
