Job Description

The Designer is responsible bringing design solutions to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals. The incumbent will be required to design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics. The incumbent will assist the Project Manager in producing and overseeing digital and print creative solutions to address our marketing needs. The incumbent will be responsible for executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, and brochures. The incumbent will be expected to contribute to a professional, proactive, collaborative culture within PC and work effectively with diverse personnel at various levels of the organisation, developing productive working relationships with staff and key contacts in different functions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding high-volume environment with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit to achieve team and organisational objectives
• Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role
• Demonstrated experience with relationship building and negotiation skills including the ability to work effectively with team members
• Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Proficient in design software
• User interface and user experience related experience
• Html, CSS, jQuery Knowledge
• Frontend Development (Html, CSS, jQuery, knowledge)
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts
• Excellent Attention to visual details
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
