Job Responsibilities
- Designing and creating web pages: A web designer will be responsible for creating a website’s layout, visual design, and overall look and feel. They should be skilled in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly web pages.
- Understanding user needs: Candidate should have a solid understanding of user needs and preferences. They should be able to create a design that is intuitive, easy to navigate, and meets the needs of the target audience.
- Creating wireframes and prototypes: Candidate should be skilled in creating wireframes and prototypes to illustrate the website’s layout and functionality. This helps to ensure that the website’s design meets the client’s requirements before moving to the development phase.
- Ensuring website accessibility: Candidate will be required to ensure that the website design is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. They should adhere to accessibility standards and guidelines, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- They should be able to communicate effectively and collaborate to ensure that the website’s design meets the project’s goals.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices: Candidate should keep up with the latest design trends and best practices. They should be familiar with the latest design tools and technologies and stay informed about emerging design trends.
