Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct usability testing, card sorting, and heuristic reviews to validate designs and user needs.
- Help product managers assess and prioritize opportunities.
- Deliver HMI/UI sketches, visual designs, mock-ups, work flows, interactive prototypes, wireframes, style guides, and other artifacts to be used in the development process.
- Own and further develop the design process in our department.
- Be an advocate for the customer.
- Work hands-on with team members and stakeholders to resolve questions, clarify designs, and deliver products.
- Share learning from UX training with other coworkers in written and oral presentations.
- Champion design and Agile principles, best practices and techniques.
- Plan and conduct customer research.
- We are a relatively large department and you will work primarily with our three product teams working to transform and improve the VISTA system.
- However, there will be opportunities to use your skills to deliver design value to the other Product Teams in the department.
